PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy matters.

This policy explains what Banner’s World collects and how that information is used. Last updated August 20, 2026.

Information you choose to provide

When you submit a comment or an Ask Banner note, we may collect the name or nickname, email address, message, and sharing preference you provide. Email addresses are not shown publicly. Approved comments may display the name and message you submitted. Ask Banner notes are published only according to the permission choice you make.

How information is used

We use submitted information to moderate comments, review and respond to messages, prevent spam or misuse, and operate the site. We do not sell your personal information. Submissions may be retained for moderation, recordkeeping, and response purposes, then removed when no longer reasonably needed.

Cookies, advertising, and analytics

Banner’s World keeps simple, private traffic totals so Mom can understand which pages and stories visitors enjoy. This records the page visited, story opened, referring website, time of visit, and an anonymous browser-session identifier. Banner’s World does not store visitors’ IP addresses in this private traffic dashboard, and the information is not displayed publicly.

Banner’s World also uses Google AdSense code. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, and personalize advertising when ads are enabled. You can learn how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services at Google’s partner sites policy, and manage advertising preferences at My Ad Center.

Service providers and security

The site relies on hosting, security, database, and advertising providers that may process limited technical information needed to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser information, and request logs. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Please do not submit personal information about a child through comments or Ask Banner messages.

Your choices

You may ask us to review or delete a comment or Ask Banner submission by using the contact page and including enough information for Mom to identify the submission. You can also limit cookies through your browser settings and Google’s advertising controls.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the blog changes. The latest version and its effective date will always appear on this page.
