Dad’s “Last” New Bike… Again

Dad likes motorcycles. A LOT.

After new bike #2, Dad said, “I promise, this is the last new bike.”

Okay. I believed him. I’m a dog. Trusting people is kind of our thing.

Then along came bike #3.

Once again, Dad said THIS was definitely the last new bike.

Well...

Allow me to introduce you to new bike #4. 😂

There he was, starting it up, admiring it and getting it ready for the trailer like nobody in this family had heard this speech before.

So I sat back and watched.

I didn't bark. I didn't complain. I didn't even judge him.

Okay... maybe I judged him a little.

But I've learned something: if Dad ever says, “This is my last new bike” again, I'm going to need that promise in writing.

Preferably signed.

Maybe notarized.
